Chef Jose Garces to Open Restaurant at Loews Madison Hotel

WASHINGTON, DC— Award-winning chef and Iron Chef America star, Jose Garces, will be opening an Argentinean steakhouse inside the Loews Madison Hotel in early 2014.

After recently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, Loews Madison Hotel is excited to be home to the future restaurant of renowned chef Garces. Since opening his first restaurant, Amada in 2005, Chef Jose Garces has emerged as one of the nation’s leading chefs and restaurateurs.

The new restaurant will replace The Federalist, but details about the new space and menu have not been revealed.

Garces is the owner and operator of more than a dozen restaurants in five cities. He is the 2009 winner of the James Beard Foundation’s “Best Chef Mid-Atlantic” award and one of only a few chefs in the country to hold the coveted title of Iron Chef.
