Brown Palace Hotel Up For Sale in Denver

The Brown Palace hotel has been owned by the same investment group for the past 30 years. But now it looks like the time is right to put the historic property up for sale.

According to this article from 7News Denver, the owners have confirmed that they expect to complete the sale of the hotel in the first quarter of 2014.

The complex includes the 241-room Brown Palace, a member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, and a 231-room Comfort Inn. An asking price was not immediately known.

The hotel, which was built in 1882, has hosted several U.S. presidents and other dignitaries in its 121-year history.
