Blake Hotel Undergoes Renovation and Rebranding

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—This fall, the former Blake Hotel will be re-launched with a new name and management team—revealing renovated guestrooms, a new rooftop lounge, a beer garden near the updated pool area, a revamped fitness center, and two new full-service restaurants.

“We are so excited to usher in a new era of luxury in Charlotte by re-launching this property,” says Jim Hogg, general manager, in an announcement. “The new hotel will bring a unique experience to the Charlotte social scene, and we can’t wait to welcome past and future guests to the revitalized hotel.”

The property’s redesigned guestrooms include black and white hound’s-tooth carpeting, polished stainless steel accents, and large graphic paintings. The bathrooms have charcoal gray and white porcelain tiles, white marble oversized vanities, and white lacquer amenities. The rooms also offer large flat-screen TVs and iPad docking stations.

The lobby area has also undergone an extensive transformation, featuring tufted leather furniture, hammered metal tables, large custom iron light fixtures, and original artwork. In addition to the revamped guest rooms and lobby area, the hotel will reveal updates to its 52,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and food and beverage offerings.
