Best Western to Go App Launches on iPad

PHOENIX—Best Western International announced that its popular “Best Western To Go” application is now available for the iPad. The app boasts the same updated look and feel as the popular iPhone and Android app, with improved functionality and graphics tailored for iPad.

“Best Western To Go” for iPad includes the ability to research and book hotels for over 4,000 Best Western hotel locations worldwide, improved navigation, access to a Best Western Rewards account, integrated TripAdvisor reviews and improved Bing mapping capabilities. Like the phone app, Best Western to Go for the iPad incorporates TripIt so travelers can also add their TripIt itineraries and travel plans directly into the app to keep them organized on the road.

Travelers can also use the iPad app to help plan their trip beyond the hotel stay by adding locations of things to see and do and places to meet friends or colleagues. When traveling, users can track places they visit such as a favorite lunch spot, museum, or even a restaurant where they had dinner with a client. They can then share these favorites via email.

“We are seeing many more bookings from tablets, and we know that this will continue to increase. With more than 100 million people worldwide using iPads, the new ‘Best Western To Go’ iPad app helps Best Western meet the growing needs of travelers who research and book travel with their iPad,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Best Western International. “No matter where they are iPad users will now be able to take advantage of deeper partner integration with TripIt, TripAdvisor, and Bing throughout their ‘Best Western To Go’ experience.”
