MILWAUKEE—Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation, has announced Michael Swasey has joined the company as area vice president.
Swasey joins Marcus Hotels & Resorts with 20 years of hospitality experience, having most recently served as vice president of hotel operations for Alena Hospitality, based in Orlando, Florida. His prior experience includes serving as vice president of asset management for Inland American Lodging Management, L.L.C. (now Xenia REIT) in Orlando, Florida, and serving in operations roles for B.F. Saul Company – Hospitality Group in Bethesda, Maryland; Legacy Hospitality, Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico.; InterContinental Hotel Group in Atlanta, Georgia; and Sage Hospitality in Denver, Colorado.
