Wyndham Vacation Ownership Names Chief Hospitality Officer

ORLANDO—Wyndham Vacation Ownership (WVO) has announced the appointment of Mark Johnson as chief hospitality officer. Johnson, who has 11 years tenure with WVO, joins the company’s executive leadership team.

In this newly created position, Johnson will lead WVO’s hospitality division and its four primary consumer brands, CLUB WYNDHAM, WorldMark by Wyndham, Shell Vacations Club, and Margaritaville Vacation Club. He will be based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

Johnson most recently served as president of Wyndham Consumer Finance, which serves as WVO’s captive financial services company. Johnson led his team in executing upon numerous commercial financings and in servicing more than 900,000 owners, while enhancing service levels, quality scores, turnaround time, and owner satisfaction. He began his professional career in law before going on to hold senior-level positions for FINOVA Capital Corporation and GE Commercial Finance.
