Wyndham Grand Jupiter Debuts Signature Restaurant

JUPITER, Fla.—Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place has announced the opening of deep blu seafood grille, the hotel’s new signature restaurant, under the direction of newly-appointed Chef de Cuisine, Thomas Op’t Holt.

Op’t Holt brings eight years of culinary experience to the new dining establishment. Op’t Holt’s culinary direction will guide deep blu kitchen operations, staff management, and menu ideation by incorporating local flavors. The restaurant will support local farmers and fish mongers as it serves local residents and Harbourside Place visitors.

“Leading up to the restaurant’s opening and now in our first weeks of service, we are already seeing Chef Op’t Holt’s culinary passion inspire each plate that leaves the kitchen,” said Mike Molloy, executive chef at Wyndham Grand Jupiter. “He blends creativity with a tradition of quality, resulting in an unrivaled culinary experience for each guest.”

This is the second deep blu seafood grille location to open in Florida, after first opening at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. Freshly caught seafood, hand-cut steak, and several wine offerings make up the Florida-inspired menu.

Op’t Holt gained experience in many kitchens across the country. He began his career under the direction of Chef Mychael Bonner at Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises in Chicago, where he supported the opening of the new dining concept Saranello’s.

“I draw inspiration from all types of art forms, which ultimately allows me to blend flavors, textures, colors and aromas to create unique dining experiences,” said Op’t Holt. “My influence on deep blu will be inspired both by this creativity as well as the rich tradition of quality ingredients and local favorite dishes.”
