White Lodging to Manage the Marriott at Glenpointe

TEANECK, N.J.—White Lodging has been selected to manage the Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, N.J. The 345-room hotel and conference center is part of the Glenpointe complex, one of northern New Jersey’s foremost mixed-use developments. The complex was developed and is owned by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack, N.J.

The Marriott at Glenpointe joins the White Lodging portfolio under the leadership of Keith Shopnick, general manager. An industry veteran with more than 20 years’ experience, Shopnick was general manager for the Westin Austin at the Domain before his most recent assignment at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, both White Lodging properties.

“The Marriott at Glenpointe has many wonderful attributes including a prime location close to New York City, local airports, the Meadowlands Sports Complex, and many of the area’s top leisure attractions,” Shopnick said. “The hotel delivers outstanding customer service, exciting culinary options, and is the place to hold events in Northern New Jersey. We are thrilled to be part of this community and Alfred Sanzari Enterprises to continue elevating upon the guest experience.”

A multi-million dollar renovation project recently transformed the hotel’s lobby, restaurants, and 26,500 square feet of meeting space. Key to the lobby renovation is the hotel’s adaptation of Marriott’s “Great Room” concept, which features comfortable seating and plenty of room to work, socialize, or relax.
