Vantage Hospitality

In 1990, Vantage Hospitality set out to develop a hotel brand affiliation that would differ from traditional franchising. The emphasis would be on maximizing the owner’s return on investment while putting more decision-making authority in owners’ hands by having them collectively vote on all major strategic actions taken by their individual brands. In December 2015, at Vantage’s annual conference, the company announced that it is focusing on continued growth and fine tuning the brands it acquired when it bought Americas Best Franchising in 2014. Some of the newly acquired brands have changed tiers. Country Hearth was moved from upper-economy/lower-midscale to the economy segment to better suit its members. Additionally, Signature Inn has been bumped from economy to “boutique economy,” giving owners a chance to customize their properties to meet the demands of their markets.
