Vantage Appoints Regional VP of Development, Upscale Brands

mikeburgessCORAL SPRINGS, Fla.–Industry development leader Mike Burgess is now heading up the eastern region development for Vantage’s upscale brands that include the company’s midscale to upscale offerings of Lexington Inn, Lexington Hotel, and the brands that are being relaunched under the Vantage umbrella — Jameson Inn, Jameson Suites, and 3 Palms Hotels & Resorts.

With over 22 years in the hospitality industry, most recently as regional director for Best Western International, Burgess has a wealth of experience and a proven track record of successful franchise development, having developed or repositioned over 200 properties. He will join Mark Williams, who was appointed in August as group president of Vantage’s upscale brands.

“The eastern region of the U.S. is a huge opportunity for hotel development and re-branding, and Vantage’s unique business model of low fees, more revenue-generating resources, reasonable brand standards, and a Voice and A Vote SM are what hotel owners have been wanting for years,” said Burgess.

“I’m very excited to have Mike on my team,” said Williams. “We’ve worked together for years and he has the drive, experience, and in-depth knowledge to bring our upscale brands to the next level.”
