U.S. Expects Strong Summer Travel Season

Affordable gasoline allows domestic vacationers to drive longer to their destinations, breaking from their typical 50- to 75- mile radius drives. As for international travelers, recent terrorist attacks in Europe have Europeans turning to the U.S. for their summer vacations because of the country’s heightened security. Chinese travelers continue to visit the U.S. in growing numbers, with particular interest in markets like Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Yellowstone, Calif.
