The Abbey Resort Undergoing Multi-Phase, $50 Million Renovation

FONTANA, Wis.—The Abbey Resort & AVANI Spa marks its 50th Anniversary this year and will complete a $50 million renovation this summer.

A primary focus of the final phase of the renovation has been an update to major outdoor focal points. Elements of the Abbey A-frame are being added at varying scales throughout the resort, including at significant entrances such as the Waterfront Restaurant, the AVANI Spa, and the harbor-side entrances.

Earlier phases of the renovation included new soft goods and electronics for guestrooms and new furnishings for the guestrooms and lobby. The 35,000 square foot AVANI Spa also received a complete renovation.

Additional renovations include upgrades to the meeting and function space. The Harbor Ballroom as well as the adjacent Wisconsin Ballroom, pre-function areas, and Geneva meeting rooms are being updated with new carpeting, wall treatments, window coverings, and interior furnishings.
