Warwick New York Unveils Five New Suites

NEW YORK—The Warwick New York Hotel announced the unveiling of its five new specialty suites designed to celebrate the spirit of the Old Hollywood era and the innovators of today’s cultural landscape. Originally built as a hideaway for screen siren Marion Davies and publishing tycoon William Randolph Hearst, the Warwick New York Hotel set out to capture the glamour of the lovers’ bygone era with the aptly named Randolph Suite and Davies Suite along with the Russell Suite, Follies Suite, and Modern Art Suite. At 977-square-feet, the Randolph Suite is the largest of the collection and draws inspiration from shades of newsprint with a pallet of deep navy offset by touches of black and grey. Striking gold accents call back to William Randolph Heart’s opulent tastes. The suite features a selection of oversized furniture and a boardroom ideal for business transactions. The space also features touches such as oversized headboards with metal studs and portraits of Marion Davies hanging above the dining table to create an eclectic and inviting atmosphere. The Follies Suite was designed to recreate the razzle-dazzle spectacle that was the Ziegfeld Follies. The suite’s color palate of deep purple and gold calls back to the era of ...

Hotel ZaZa Unveils Bungalow Concept

DALLAS—Hotel ZaZa, a boutique hotel in Texas, has launched The Bungalows at Hotel ZaZa Dallas, a collection of 12 one- and two- bedroom luxury guest suites with coastal chic interiors situated on a private compound adjacent to the hotel. The Bungalow suites range in average of 600 to 1,200 square feet and boast the comforts of a luxury residential home, with many of the rooms featuring kitchens, living rooms, and private porches and patios. Six of The Bungalow suites are housed in an existing historic building, and the other six bungalows are in a space that was built from the ground up, designed to match the New Orleans-style architecture of its counterpart. Design inspiration for The Bungalows came from Hotel ZaZa Developer Charles S. Givens, who had a hands-on approach to creating the new suites in tandem with local interior design firm, Design Duncan Miller Ullmann. “In true ZaZa fashion, we created the Bungalows to delight our guests – part of the allure of our brand is that our guests can have a different experience every time they stay ZaZa,” said Charles S. Givens. “As the pioneer of the ‘theme suite’, we approach everything with spontaneity, and these bungalows were ...
