Strategic Reportedly Seeking Company Buyer

    Strategic Hotels & Resorts has reportedly hired a bank to help explore a possible sale of the company, according to a Bloomberg article. Two people familiar with the matter said eBay Founder Pierre Omidyar is among the potential suitors of the Chicago-based company, which has a market value of approximately $3.46 billion. Discussions are continuing and there is no certainty of a deal. A spokeswoman for Strategic told Bloomberg the company doesn’t comment on market rumors.
