South Florida Hotel Reflagged as DoubleTree by Hilton

MCLEAN, Va.—DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Deerfield Beach. Owned by Continental Properties and managed by Ocean Properties, the 220-room hotel previously was a Hilton but currently is in the midst of a two-year property upgrade.

“The reflagging to a DoubleTree by Hilton signals both leisure and business travelers that they will enjoy special comforts and acts of kindness that align perfectly with this relaxed south Florida location,” said general manager Walter “Chip” Chapman, in an announcement. “The DoubleTree brand is well-known for its caring culture and the genuine warmth of our associates will resonate with our guests and be evident throughout the property, from guest rooms to our meeting space.”

The hotel has recently added new 40-inch flat screen televisions in each guest room and upgraded HVAC in the hotel’s grand ballroom. Over the next 24 months, new furnishings will enhance the guestrooms and the lobby will be renovated.

“The DoubleTree by Hilton brand has been very well received in south Florida, as evidenced by our eight other branded hotels already thriving along the Miami – Palm Beach corridor,” said Rob Palleschi, global head DoubleTree by Hilton. “This hotel, with its suburban location just two miles from the beach and easy access to I-95, is an outstanding addition to the DoubleTree by Hilton family.”

Additional amenities include a fitness center and Bobby Bahia’s Caribbean Grille and Lounge serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel’s 20,000 square feet of meeting space can accommodate groups of up to 800 and features the Grand Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows.
