South Coast Winery Resort & Spa Taking on Expansion Project

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa recently announced plans for its 2013 expansion efforts when it received approval from Riverside County to proceed with plans to build a new winery in the region.

The new 5,470 square foot winery, named Carter Estates, which will also house a tasting room, is part of the project that will include construction of 23 buildings on 42,000 square feet of space slated for resort, winery, spa, and office and meeting space. The construction plan also calls for a pool and parking for visitors and guests.

And while construction on the winery will begin in the near future, the resort is still on target to open their new three-story, 50-unit, all-suite structure, and additional meeting and event space in March 2013. This boutique property will feature 50 additional guest suites, measuring in at a full 538 to 850 square feet. Each suite comes with a fireplace, tub, and lanai deck placed in the vineyards. The addition will also include a custom-tailored 10,000 square foot rooftop garden.
