Sheraton Reopens Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel

PALMA DE MALLORCA, Spain—Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide announced that Sheraton Hotels and Resorts reopened the Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel following a complete nine-month, multi-million Euro renovation. This renovation is part of a multi-year revitalisation of the Sheraton brand through which Starwood and its owner partners have invested more than $6 billion.

“Together with Schörghuber Corporate Group, our owner partner with whom we have had a relationship for over 15 years, Starwood is committed to the continued development of the tourism industry in Mallorca,” commented Michael Wale, president, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East. “The revitalisation of Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel allows us to meet the increased demand for high-calibre accommodation with distinctive guest experiences, providing golf enthusiasts, global travellers, as well as the local community with an inviting gathering place for all occasions.”

The hotel comprises 93 guestrooms, including 23 suites, all equipped with the signature all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed. The refurbished rooms feature a blend of contemporary design with a warm palette, as well as large terrace doors that open onto views of the garden, pool, or golf course.

The golf-inclusive hotel is owned by Arabella Hospitality Group. The hotel is located next to the 18th hole of the Arabella Golf Course Son Vida and offers guests free play at 63 holes on four courses alongside complimentary shuttle transfers from the hotel.

The hotel introduced Shine Spa for Sheraton, which comprises four treatment rooms, a new indoor pool, sauna and steam bath, and a 24-hour fitness pavilion. Other facilities at the hotel include a fitness pavilion with the latest power and cardio equipment, two outdoor pools, two tennis courts, as well as a kids’ club with its own pool and playground.
