Sheraton Opens Second Hotel in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area

STAMFORD, Conn.—Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide announced the opening of Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel just outside Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT). Owned by an affiliate of Platinum Equity, the hotel completed a multi-million dollar renovation prior to re-opening in order to meet Sheraton brand standards. The opening is part of the Sheraton brand’s strategic $8 billion expansion effort.

As part of its renovations, the hotel implemented the Sheraton brand’s signature Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft, and all 200 guest rooms were fully renovated and equipped with the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, oversized work desks, ergonomic chairs, high-speed Internet, and LCD flat panel televisions.

Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel provides approximately 9,000 square feet of flexible meeting space with all the latest in meetings technology. Additional amenities include a full-service restaurant and lounge, outdoor pool, Sheraton Club Lounge, and fully renovated fitness facility.
