RLHC Continues to Develop in Eastern U.S.

SPOKANE, Wash.—RLHC continues to execute on its strategy to expand in the Eastern U.S. and grow in markets nationwide. Over the last 24 months, RLHC has added 34 properties in the east, 26 locations have already opened, and eight are currently either in development or under renovation.

“Our growing presence in locations like Harrisburg, Long Island City, Brooklyn, Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Kissimmee is fueled by our passion for excellence and championing the new expectations of the modern traveler,” said Brian Quinn, RLHC senior vice president and chief franchise officer. “As we grow, we also remain committed to our partners, ensuring they stay competitive through innovative systems like RevPak and our next generation guest recognition program, Hello Rewards.”

RLHC has revamped its guest room prototypes and hotel programming to address guests’ preferences, making the hotel fit the guest and not the other way around. Each hotel that has been added to the company’s system in key locations is undergoing property upgrades to add RLHC’s signature elements. Guests can expect to see complimentary artisanal coffee, plush bath sheets and personal care products from Cascadia Soapery.

“The eastward expansion is part of a larger company initiative to open 100 hotels in 100 weeks and we are well on our way to meeting this goal,” said RLHC President and CEO, Greg Mount. “But more importantly, it underscores the acceleration of deals taking place across our family of brands.”

Red Lion Hotel Atlanta Airport recently opened in April, while Red Lion Hotel Jacksonville is scheduled to open its doors next month. Other additions to the portfolio will include Hotel RL Brooklyn Bed-Stuy later this summer and Red Lion Hotel Orlando-Lake Buena Vista South opening this November.
