River City Casino Unveils 200-Room Hotel

ST. LOUIS—River City Casino and Hotel in South St. Louis County announced the completion of an $82-million expansion and held a grand opening ceremony for its new hotel. The unveiling of the 200-room hotel completes an extensive two-year investment commitment to St. Louis County and the state of Missouri which also includes a 1,600-space parking garage and a 14,000 square foot Event Center. River City Casino and Hotel’s expansion created 350 construction jobs and 100 new permanent jobs.

Nestled along the banks of the Mississippi River, River City Casino and Hotel is a seven-story hotel offering 193 guestrooms, six spacious 2-bay suites, and a Presidential suite—all steps away from the casino’s restaurants, Event Center, an expansive casino. All first-floor guestrooms feature garden patios with plush outdoor furniture. Other amenities include LED TVs, iPod docking stations, televisions in the bathroom mirrors, ‘rain’ showers, high-speed wireless Internet, Keurig brand coffee machines, a state-of-the-art fitness room and designer decor that showcases artwork by Missouri’s best local artists.
