Radisson Signs Hotel in Porto Alegre, Brazil

PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil—Radisson announced the signing of the Radisson Porto Alegre, Brazil with an expected opening of Oct. 31. A mulit-million dollar renovation is planned for the 132-room property. As Radisson further expands in South America, this hotel marks the seventh Radisson in Brazil, with several additional properties joining the portfolio by first quarter 2014.

Located in the Bela Vista neighborhood, the hotel features a business center, 24-hour room service, a full-service salon, laundry service and messenger service. Becco’s, the hotel’s featured restaurant, features regional and international cuisine, along with ala carte dining and buffet style service. The hotel is four miles from Salgado International Airport.

In addition to Porto Alegre, Radisson also has properties in: Sao Paulo; Alphaville; Curitiba; Maceio; Aracaju; and Belem.
