Peru to Get Slanted Cliff-Side Hotel

Travelers heading to Peru’s capital city of Lima may soon find themselves in a room with a view unlike anything they’ve experienced before.

According to Wired, designs for Hotel Unbalance show a picture-frame-like building perched on the side of the Lima Pacific Cliffs, a popular tourist destination.

The project is being designed by Madrid-based OOIIO Architecture firm for a private client.

In an email OOIIOO’s director Joaquín Millán told Wired.co.uk, “Sometimes architecture is about how a building can suggest and ‘talk’ with the observer, how its dimensions, location, shape, texture, reflections, etc. are able to transmit sensations.”
