CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla.—The newest resort on Clearwater Beach, Opal Sands Resort, has just debuted 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space for hosting conferences, conventions, and board meetings that require delectable catering, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, and professional event planning services.

The resort’s gulf-front indoor spaces—from the 600-square-foot Aqua Boardroom to the 7,650-square-foot Opal Ballroom—can accommodate anywhere from 16 to 811 attendees. Nine breakout rooms make it easy to host multiple strategic planning sessions all under one roof or provide comfortable areas for registration, breaks and meals. Whether organized in a classroom, theater, reception, hollow-square or round setup, all event rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows allowing Clearwater’s radiant sun—240 days on average—to stimulate thought, spark productivity and create a picture-perfect environment for lasting memories. Modern AV equipment and high-speed Wi-Fi access allow presentations and slideshows to go off without a hitch.

The outdoor space, which can accommodate a 40-foot by 60-foot tent, also sits right next to the Clearwater Beach resort’s zero-entry pool with lounge chairs, three private cabanas available for rent, and food and beverage service from Reflections Poolside Bar.
