On the Move: This Week’s Comings & Goings

James E. Mikolaichik has been appointed chief financial officer of Hilton Grand Vacations by Hilton Worldwide Holdings. Mikolaichik will oversee the company’s finance and accounting organizations and will play a key role in the development and implementation of HGV’s corporate and financial strategies.

Here’s a look at other notable comings and goings that took place this week:

New York Hilton Midtown has appointed Craig Burdick to the position of director of food and beverage. Burdick has over 25 years of experience in food and banquet operations, and will manage the culinary program, including the Herb N’ Kitchen market/restaurant and banquet facilities.

Michael Reynoldson has been promoted to managing director of resort sales and revenue management for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company. Reynoldson previously served as assistant director of resort sales for HE&R. In his new position, he will lead a team of 20 employees from HE&R’s resorts sales, revenue management, and Hershey Lodge Destination Service teams.

Provenance Hotels has announced the addition of Ashley Stemper to its team as director of interior design for its portfolio of hotels. In her newly created role, Stemper will be responsible for directing design projects for the company’s hotels and oversee direction and execution for all new projects in the works.

The Talbott Hotel in Chicago has announced the appointment of Morgan Bailey to the role of general manager. Bailey previously worked with the property’s parent brand Commune Hotels & Resorts for over 10 years.

Andrew Chippindall has been named vice president and general manager of the new Mountain Shadows resort, opening in Paradise Valley, Ariz., in early 2017. Chippindall has decades of experience in hospitality management, previously working at hotels and resorts in London, Austria, and Indonesia. He also managed the media village for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

Chesapeake Hospitality has announced the promotion of Brenda McGregor from senior director of human resources to vice president of human resources. In addition to her current responsibilities of overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources services and support within the organization, McGregor will now also manage the company’s increasingly complex health care and benefits program.

Shannon Kelly has been appointed director of sales and marketing for The Highland Dallas. Kelly brings more than two decades of experience in the hospitality and technology field. In his new position, he will manage all aspects of the sales and marketing division.

Hilton Worldwide has announced the appointment of Peter J. Carmichael to general manager of the Casa Marina Resort and The Reach, in Key West, Fla. Carmichael will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the iconic resorts, ensuring they continue to be an industry leader for both groups and leisure guests.

The Marriott AC Hotel Chicago Downtown has announced that Nicole Casaletto has been appointed director of sales and marketing. In her new role, Casaletto will be responsible for leading sales strategies and initiatives for the hotel, managing all group booking and business accounts, and maximizing all revenue streams.
