On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

Martins Resorts in San Luis Obispo, Calif., has promoted Lori Keller to chief executive officer. Longtime CEO of Martin Resorts, Noreen Martin, has stepped down from her day-to-day responsibilities to become chairman of the board.

Here’s a look at other notable comings and goings that took place this week:

G6 Hospitality has appointed Rob Palleschi chief development officer. The newly created role is a result of the company’s expansion and growing presence in international markets.

Benchmark has named Joseph M. DeMille senior director of sales and marketing for the Chattanoogan in Chattanooga, Tenn. DeMille, who has held senior sales and marketing positions for the past 15 years, comes from Turnberry Isle Miami.

New Castle Hotels & Resorts in Shelton, Conn., has appointed Trevor Stratton as general manager of the Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island. In this role, he will oversee an upcoming upgrade to the hotel’s rooms and public spaces. Stratton previously worked as the director of operations for the Westin Jekyll Island.

Prism Hotels and Resorts promoted Mark Van Amerongen from senior vice president of operations to chief operating officer. In this new role, he will continue to identify opportunities for growth and oversee the company’s day-to-day operations of its more than 25 hotels nationally. The company has promoted Chris Charbonnet from regional vice president of operations—a position he has held for three years—to senior vice president of operations. Doll Ogden, who most recently worked as corporate director of revenue optimization, has been promoted vice president of revenue optimization. Previously corporate director of financial services, Paul Mengacci has been promoted to vice president of finance and analytics. With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, George Davis has been promoted from corporate taskforce engineer/project manager to corporate director of engineering.

Virgin Hotels has welcomed Korollan King as the new vice president of accounting. Based in Miami, Fla., King will oversee the brand’s accounting and financial operations. Most recently, King served as the corporate director of finance & FP&A at Nikki Beach International.

Aman has named Roland Fasel as chief operating officer. Formerly working as general manager of the Dorchester and regional director, UK, for Dorchester Collection, Fasel has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Teneo Hospitality Group has appointed Christie Post as director of sales northwest. Based in Portland, Ore., Post will oversee the group’s sales initiatives in Oregon, Washington, and Utah. Most recently, Post held a global sales role with Disney.

Under the management of Dimension Development, Courtyard Santa Ana Orange Country in Santa Ana, Calif. has named Jillian Clary as director of sales. Clary, who has accumulated 16 years of hospitality experience, will explore new opportunities for the hotel in the Orange County area.

Four Seasons Hotel Seattle has welcomed Greg Campbell, with over 20 years of sales and marketing leadership from Starwood to Hilton brands, as director of marketing.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour in St. George, Saint Kitts, and Nevis has appointed Mark Guthrie as director of sales and marketing. Guthrie, who joined the Hyatt family in 2008, has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
