Meliá Hotels Debuts Innside New York NoMad

NEW YORK, N.Y.—Meliá Hotels International (MHI) announced the debut of Innside New York NoMad, opening March 2016 at 132 West 27th Street in New York. One of the largest hotel companies in the world, this will be MHI’s first property in New York City and its first Innside hotel in North America. True to the Innside brand’s core identity, the 313-room flagship property will cater to savvy business travelers and leisure guests alike, bringing to life a unique urban lifestyle concept that delivers smart and efficient service, contemporary design, food and beverage destinations, and the latest technology to Manhattan’s burgeoning NoMad area.

The hotel’s central location on West 27th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues will play an integral role in providing guests with a true Innsider experience. In addition to being just minutes away from many of New York’s most iconic landmarks and attractions, its close proximity to several of the major subway lines will allow for quick and convenient access to the most exciting, culturally enriching neighborhoods and business centers throughout the city.

Drawing from the vibrancy of its buzzing surroundings, Innside New York NoMad will introduce an exciting signature restaurant concept helmed by one of America’s most popular celebrity chefs. Art and music will play a large part in the overall dining experience, and the space will be designed to create an interactive and engaging atmosphere. A spacious lobby bar will feature a combination of old-fashioned drinks and seasonal hand-crafted cocktails in a modern setting, perfect for an after-work drink or post-theater nightcap.

The hotel’s 313 spacious guestrooms will boast stylish and contemporary interiors brimming with natural light. A total of eight suites and three unique terrace suites will feature views of the Empire State Building and New York’s skyline. Guests will feel right at home with access to convenient in-room amenities like Innside’s signature bedside lighting, Nespresso coffee machine, flat screen TV with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, a complimentary minibar stocked with water, sod,a and juices, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Modern bathrooms will feature a spacious rain shower and tub and offer a unique line of SAMPAR skincare products for a spa-like experience. Those looking to explore the city will have a number of services at their fingertips including a curated neighborhood guide created by the hotel’s INNSIDER team.

Innside New York NoMad will feature a creative meetings and events program conceptualized with the modern day business traveler in mind. Two creative meetings suites will be outfitted with comfortable lounge furniture, communal tables and seating areas as well as out-of-the-box items like fitness balls and dartboards, designed to inspire collaborative creativity in a relaxed living room setting. Innovative technologies like Smart Kapp, a program which has modernized the experience of a dry erase board to allow meeting participants to receive content as its created on the board across multiple devices, will allow for maximized productivity in each room. The versatile suites will lend themselves to a diverse range of functions and can seamlessly convert into one flowing event space with the capacity for 70 people.

The hotel will also feature a fitness center complete with an outdoor terrace where a variety of early-riser fitness classes will be available for guests looking to get a healthy start to the day.
