TAMPA, Fla.–Mainsail Lodging & Development, a Tampa-based hospitality company that develops and operates lodging products in the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean, was recognized with Marriott International’s Partnership Circle Award, the highest honor awarded by Marriott to its owners and franchise partners for hospitality excellence. Mainsail was also inducted into the award program’s Hall of Fame. Joe Collier, president of Mainsail Lodging & Development, was on hand to accept the award at Marriott International’s recently concluded Full-Service Owners Conference (MINA) in San Francisco.

“We’ve succeeded in creating a company-wide philosophy centered on the guest experience and a corporate culture that celebrates our team’s hard work and commitment to providing exceptional service, every single day,” said Collier. “This is a tremendous award and I couldn’t be more proud of our Mainsail Hall of Famers.”

The Partnership Circle Award is the highest honor Marriott presents to its franchise partners for hospitality excellence. The award recognizes those partners who embody Marriott’s vision, share a mutual long-term commitment, fully embrace Marriott’s brand initiatives, focus on associates to create a well-managed and engaged workforce, invest in hotel product, and provide outstanding customer service as measured through Marriott’s guest satisfaction surveys.

Mainsail Lodging & Development has three additional Autograph Collection projects currently in development across Florida: Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club, opening this Fall on Anna Maria Island; and two additional hotels planned for 2018 and 2019, respectively–Fenway Hotel in Dunedin and Luminary Hotel & Co. in Fort Myers.
