Knowledge and Commitment

If you’re reading this magazine, you’re probably interested in the trends and issues driving the hospitality industry. But wouldn’t it be great if your whole company was as engaged? Maybe we can’t reach everyone, but there are two ways AH&LA members can make their employees want to be involved, thereby increasing their knowledge of and commitment to the lodging industry.

Women In Lodging (WIL) CONNECT
n Created as a platform for motivated female professionals to accelerate their careers, WIL membership is open and free to any woman employed at an AH&LA member organization. As a member, you stay in the loop of all association activities, can participate in the mentorship program, and get invitations to exclusive WIL events, and there may just be a local chapter in your area. Visit www.ahla.com/WIL for more information.

Under 30 Gateway
n Open to all hospitality professionals under age 30, this membership group benefits from educational and networking events, the ability to have a mentor, and free Webinars, all designed to augment career growth. Chapters are popping up nationwide as well. Membership is free to anyone employed at an AH&LA member organization, or for $95 per year otherwise. Visit www.ahla.com/Gateway for more details.

There is no limit to the amount of employees who can participate in these programs, and they just might thank you for it—and stick around for awhile.
