IHG Opens Holiday Inn Monterrey Valle in Mexico

MONTERREY, Mexico—InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the opening of the Holiday Inn Monterrey Valle hotel, the 10th IHG hotel in Monterrey.

“This is a beautiful property, conveniently located for both business and leisure travelers who are looking for a an enhanced guest experience,” said Gerardo Murray, vice president of distribution and commercial marketing, Mexico, Latin America & Caribbean, IHG. “Monterrey is a prominent city in Mexico, rapidly growing with vast potential and we are happy to further develop the IHG brand family here.”

Guestrooms include business-focused necessities such as ergonomic workstations and data ports. They also feature bathrooms with a multifunctional showerhead, as well as a signature shower curtain with curved rod, and Bath and Body Works White Citrus bath products. Additionally, each room features double, queen, or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron, and ironing board.

The 198-room property includes seven suites. Other amenities include five meeting rooms that can hold up to 80 people, heated swimming pool, and a fitness center. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s restaurant, Los Alcatraces, which features a variety of dining options from breakfast to a buffet dinner, and relax in the Bar El Refugio del Pintor.
