Hotel WiFi Test Ranks Chain WiFi Quality

Hotel Wifi Test has released a ranking of best hotel chains by WiFi quality. The report contains rankings on a global and national scale.

For chain rankings in the United States, Hotel WiFi Test studied and sorted the top 25 most-tested hotel chains. If a specific hotel was not ranked, it is not because it has poor WiFi quality, it just was not among the hotels observed.

The top five U.S. hotel chains were Marriott, Westin, Hyatt, Sheraton, and Best Western. The bottom five U.S. chains were Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Extended Stay America, and Hampton Inn.

The report explains that despite taking the top spot for quality, Marriott only provides free WiFi to 17 percent of its U.S. hotels. Additionally, its quality was low compared to the global rankings.
