Hospitality Industry Maintains Robust Employment Numbers

    After a rocky start to summer, the Bureau of Labor Statistics’s July employment report has delivered positive news: 255,000 new jobs were added last month, with the unemployment rate holding steady at 4.9 percent. Leisure and hospitality, in particular, continued to trend up in July, adding 45,000 jobs. According to ADP’s National Franchise Report, 21,200 jobs were added in July, including an uptick of 1,300 jobs in the accommodations sector. Read more here.
