Homewood Suites Opens New Hotel in Iowa

McLean, Va.—Homewood Suites by Hilton announced the opening of its newest property in Coralville – Iowa River Landing, Iowa. Creating 20 permanent jobs, the six story, 95-suite hotel is owned by Cantilever Hotels, LLC / Lincoln and Lisa McIlravy and managed by Sagacity Inc. General Manager Matthew Traetow has been in the hotel industry for 15 years, and is supported by Sales Manager Kimberly Morgan.

“Part of the brand new mixed-use Iowa River Landing development, the property will meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers looking for the comforts of home,” said Traetow. “Homewood Suites’ bundled value offering is an important component that differentiates the hotel; whether that means the space to spread out in all-suite accommodations with fully-equipped kitchens, or the ability to stay productive and relax with complimentary high-speed Internet access and separate living and sleeping areas.”

Homewood Suites by Hilton Coralville – Iowa River Landing, offers studio, one- and two-bedroom suites, with additional guest amenities including a daily complimentary hot breakfast in the hotel’s hospitality center—the “Lodge”—a full evening meal with drinks Monday-Thursday, and a 24-hour on-site pantry. The hotel also offers a pool, fully-equipped fitness center, 24-hour executive business center, and a 740 square foot library that can also be used as meeting space.
