Home2 Suites to Launch 50 Acts of Kindness Campaign

MCLEAN, Va.—Home2 Suites by Hilton is commemorating the opening of its 50th property, Home2 Suites by Hilton Austin North/Near the Domain, in a big way with the launch of the 50 Acts of Kindness campaign. As part of the 50 Acts of Kindness program, every Home2 Suites in North America will coordinate simultaneous community events on May 21.

The 50 Acts of Kindness initiative will result in approximately 1,000 total worked service hours and will be punctuated by a signature event in Austin. Working with Keep Austin Beautiful, Home2 Suites leadership, local team members, and guests will help conduct a clean-up and rehabilitation of Great Hills Park, including picking-up a minimum of 50 pounds of trash and planting 50 pounds of native vegetation seeds.

The 50 Acts of Kindness is a compliment to Home2 Suites’ Your2 Hands program, which enables hotel team members to make a difference in the communities where they live and work. In coordination with their local non-profit Your2 Hands community partner, each hotel will invite guests to participate in a 50 Acts of Kindness event to extend the positive impact of Home2 Suites beyond the hotel walls; ranging from food drives and volunteering at homeless shelters, to building new homes with Habitat for Humanity.
