Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach Opens Its Doors

SINGAPORE—The Holiday Inn brand opens the Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach in Thailand this month at the former Sala Talay Resort. The rebranding of the resort adds yet another Holiday Inn flag on Thailand’s map and adds another 55 rooms to Holiday Inn’s existing 3,293 rooms across the country, with another 133 to be added via a new wing by October 2013.

The new wing will also house the brand’s renowned Holiday Inn KidSuites, offering separate sleeping berths and other family-friendly facilities, to make for a more relaxing and enjoyable holiday for both parents and children. The kids’ section of the suite comes equipped with bunk beds and a play corner, including a flat screen TV, a DVD player, a game console, electronic games and toy boxes, ensuring the kids enjoy their entertainment in their own space.

The resort, which is set along Krabi’s Ao Nang beachfront, is both contemporary in design and environmentally sensitive. It offers an outdoor free-form swimming pool, a fitness center, Kid’s Club, and a book and DVD library in the Resort Center.

The resort also offers a range of Thai massages and treatments at its spa. A range of dishes from across Asia are served at InAsia, the resort’s restaurant, which has views over Ao Nang Beach.

In-room features include a choice of soft and firm pillows, a large walk-in rain shower, bath tubs in all rooms, free wireless internet, and a balcony/terrace with pool views or views over Ao Nang.

For families with younger children, the Kid’s Club offers an array of activities where the kids can enjoy themselves under the watchful eyes of fully trained child-minders. Three resort swimming pools also surround the new wing area, one of which comes complete with a large water slide.
