HNA’s Hilton Purchase Alters Ownership Landscape

    HNA Group’s 25 percent, $6.5 billion purchase of Hilton Worldwide Holdings is shaking up its previous acquisitions of European assets. HNA’s ownership stakes in Western companies include or will soon include 100 percent of Carlson, 28.5 percent of NH Hotels, and 25 percent of Hilton. This gives the company C-suite influence over 25 brands and 6,500 hotels.
