Hilton Tests $50 Cancellation Fee

    Consumer Travel has reported that Hilton is quietly testing a new $50 cancellation fee for reservations cancelled any time after a guest books a room. According to the article, the new policy does not apply to Hilton HHonors members. The charges apply to bookings made through the end of business on Dec. 21 at 20 U.S. Hotels, including Hilton, Embassy Suites, and DoubleTree locations.
