Hilton Garden Inn Brand Heading to Brazil

MCLEAN, Va.—Hilton Worldwide announced plans to open the first Hilton Garden Inn in Brazil. The company signed a management license agreement with HDauff Empreendimentos Imobiliarios Ltda to operate the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in São Jose do Rio Preto, São Paulo. The hotel will be built in Georgina Business Park, a business epicenter with an innovating concept that unites technology and nature preservation.

Designed with a modern look and feel by Ilha Arquitetura Company and with interiors designed by Triplex Arquitetura, Hilton Garden Inn Sao Jose do Rio Preto will form part of the 33-acre multiple-purpose Georgina Business Park project situated 273 miles northwest of São Paulo. In addition to the hotel, the complex will include residences, offices, restaurants, boulevard mall, bank agencies, a convention center, and parking, all distributed in twelve commercial towers. Hilton Garden Inn Sao Jose do Rio Preto will be the first Hilton Garden Inn in Brazil as well as the first condo-hotel model operated by Hilton Worldwide.

The hotel will feature 134 guestrooms, all with the Garden Sleep System allowing guests to adjust the firmness and softness of the bed. Rooms will also be outfitted with ergonomic Mirra chairs by Herman Miller, LCD high-definition flat-screen television, easy-to-set alarm clocks with MP3 connectivity, work desks, and “hospitality centers” that features a mini refrigerator and coffee maker.

At the hotel’s restaurant, situated on the ground floor, costumers will enjoy international specialties in a casual environment overseeing the central square. The hotel will also feature the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry shop with a selection of delicious readymade meals, beverages, and snacks.

Recreational facilities include a fitness center featuring cardio and strength training equipment, and Stay Fit Kits that can be checked out from the hotel front desk and enable guests to do yoga, Pilates, and core workouts in the privacy of their guestroom or in the workout facility.

Travelers to Hilton Garden Inn São Jose do Rio Preto will also have access to efficient meeting space including an event lounge to easily accommodate corporations in the region, and signature Hilton Garden Inn brand attributes such as complimentary WiFi and a 24-hour business center.

Hilton Worldwide currently has two hotels in Brazil – Hilton Belem and Hilton São Paulo Morumbi – and nearly 60 hotels and resorts open and welcoming travelers in Latin America.
