Hampton by Hilton Debuts in Romania

Hampton by Hilton has opened its first hotel, a 109-room, new-build property, in the country of Romania.

Simon Vincent, president, EMEA, Hilton Worldwide, said, “Hilton Worldwide has enjoyed a presence in Romania since 1997, when we opened our first hotel in Bucharest. Since then and against a backdrop of growing tourism arrivals to the country, we are delighted to have grown our portfolio to five hotels across the country. This latest opening introduces our value led brand to the region, providing an attractive base for those venturing into Transylvania, well known for its medieval castles, mythical legends and incredible scenery.”

Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca will provide guests with complimentary internet access and hot breakfast included in the room rate. Business travelers can access a 24-hour work zone facility and fully equipped meeting room on site which can host up to 35 delegates.

Hilton Worldwide now operates five hotels in Romania, with Hampton by Hilton becoming its third brand to have a presence in the country.
