Growth Properties Announces Changes for Philadelphia Area Hotels

PHILADELPHIA—Growth Properties Hospitality Management announced extensive renovations and brand changes for two hotels in the Philadelphia area.

The Comfort Inn Philadelphia Historic Area/Penns Landing and the Hampton Inn Philadelphia NE/Bensalem have converted to the Holiday Inn Express brand. Both hotels are now the latest hotels in the Philadelphia area welcomed into the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) brand.

Privately owned, and managed by Growth Properties, the hotels have completed the following renovations: A complete makeover to the building exteriors; Enhancements to all guest rooms including bathrooms, carpet, furniture and connectivity; New carpet throughout the hotels; Updated meeting space; Expanded and reconfigured breakfast bars and seating areas; A Community Table was added to each hotel for small, informal lobby gatherings; Remodeled fitness centers and business centers.
