Google Ups the Ante in Travel Searching

    Google is continuing to expand its travel offerings, building upon Google Flights and Google Destinations with additional shopping tools and data to help guests get the best deals. The company said mobile travel and shopping searches increased by 30 percent year-over-year, prompting it to provide more offerings for users. New features include hotel smart filters, which allow customers to narrow their search queries by rating and price; hotel tips that clue customers into what dates have lower hotel rates; and flights price tracking, which allows customers to track dates, routes, and flights for any price changes.
