Generations Riviera Maya by Karisma to Debut in February

MIAMI—Karisma Hotels and Resorts, creator of the Gourmet Inclusive concept, will introduce Generations Riviera Maya by Karisma in February 2014. The latest addition to the newly-launched brand, Generations Riviera Maya will feature all-suite oceanfront accommodations with unlimited butler service and swim-up infinity suites. As a part of the Gourmet Inclusive concept, Generations Riviera Maya will include gourmet à la carte meals, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and 24-hour room service.

Generations Riviera Maya will offer 144 suites measuring upwards of 1,200 square feet. Each suite features living areas, contemporary Caribbean décor, and unique accents inspired by Mexican culture. Swim-up Suites are offered on the first through fourth floors.

Deluxe amenities will include 24-hour room service, oversized balconies and terraces, Jacuzzis for two, 42” LCD TVs with satellite, WiFi, DVD players, and iPod docking alarm clocks. Additional room comforts will include air conditioning, bathrooms with double sinks, hair dryers, bathrobes, safety deposit boxes, minibars, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers, and ample closet space. Families with children will be able to take advantage of the resort’s baby amenities, including strollers, cribs, pack and plays, changing tables, monitors, bottle warmers, baby bathrobes, and more.

Generations Riviera Maya’s butler service will offer guests in-room check in, luggage unpacking services, and a complimentary steam of guests’ first five pieces of clothing. Throughout guests’ visits, personal and beach butlers will attend to every aspect of the vacation, including booking dinner reservations and spa treatments, serving family style meals in-suite, and delivering lunch, sunscreen, and reading materials to the pool or beachside.

For children, Generations Riviera Maya will offer Eko Kid’s Club, featuring supervised activities for kids aged 4 to 12 years showcasing fun and educational activities with an environmentally-friendly twist. Eko Kid’s Club will include a movie area, craft station, library, and gaming consoles. For infants and toddlers, Baby Beach Lounges will provide a shady respite from the sun complete with toys and nanny service, so that adults can enjoy some quiet beach time.

As part of the Gourmet Inclusive experience, Generations Riviera Maya will invite guests to experience à la carte tastes at any of its four restaurants and two lounges, including casual, shared fare at Chef Market, traditional Mexican “street” style cuisine and tableside games at Palapa Bar and Restaurant, cozy, family-style Pan-Asian cuisine at China Table, a fresh Mediterranean menu at Habb, and gourmet chocolate bites at Cacao Lobby Lounge.
