First Quarter 2015 Results Roundup

    Hilton Worldwide: Net income attributable to Hilton stockholders for the first quarter was $150 million, a 22 percent increase from the same period in 2014. Revenue rose 10 percent to $2.6 billion. System-wide comparable RevPAR increased 6.6 percent for the first quarter on a currency neutral basis from the same period in 2014. System-wide occupancy rose 2.1 percent to 71.1 percent. System-wide average daily rate increased 3.5 percent to $138.31.

    Marriott International: First quarter 2015 net income totaled $207 million, a 20 percent increase over 2014 first quarter net income. Marriott revenues totaled over $3.5 billion in the 2015 first quarter compared to revenues of nearly $3.3 billion for the first quarter of 2014. On a constant dollar basis, worldwide comparable systemwide RevPAR rose 6.8 percent.

    Wyndham Worldwide: Reported net income for the first quarter of 2015 was $122 million, compared with $90 million for the first quarter of 2014. First quarter revenues were $1.3 billion, an increase of 6 percent from the prior year period. In constant currency, revenues increased 9 percent. Total system-wide RevPAR increased 1.7 percent compared with the first quarter of 2014.

    Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide: Income from continuing operations was $99 million, compared to $136 million in the first quarter of 2014. Revenue fell 2.9 percent to $1.42 billion. System-wide RevPAR for same-store hotels increased 5.2 percent in constant dollars compared to 2014. System-wide occupancy rose 2.3 percent to 62.9 percent.

    La Quinta: Adjusted net income increased 23.6 percent to $9.8 million. Total revenue was up 9 percent to reach $248.11 million for the quarter, compared to $227.71 million last year. System-wide comparable RevPAR increased 8.2 percent, ADR increased 4.3 percent, and occupancy increased 233 basis points.
