Fairmont Baku Opens in Azerbaijan’s Flame Towers

Fairmont Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers, the luxury brand’s first development in the emerging destination of Azerbaijan. Fairmont Baku lies within one of the three Flame Towers—a new development and the tallest building complex in the country. The Flame Towers’ three columns were designed by HOK International.

The new 36-floor property, opening initially with 140 rooms and suites, will feature 318 guestrooms, suites, and apartments, with views of the city of Baku and the Caspian Sea. Interior designer HBA International has created interiors with a neutral palette that is accented by bursts of color. Custom pieces, such as a six meter (20 foot) glass chandelier formed in the shape of water droplets accent the lobby area.

The hotel will offer several restaurants, bars, and lounges including an authentic French patisserie and a specialty steak-house. In addition a health club and ESPA spa facility will open late summer and include indoor and outdoor pools. The property will also offer over 26,910 square feet of multi-use function space, including two ballrooms.
