Fairfield Inn & Suites Hotel To Open In Midtown Manhattan

NEW YORK—The 239-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Midtown Manhattan is scheduled to open in early April. The hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by OTO Development of Spartanburg, S.C.

The property’s all-suite rooms offer separate living, working, and sleeping areas, and include an additional television, microwave, and mini-fridge. The living area provides a well-lit work area and ergonomic chair.

The hotel is expected to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certification for its contributions to reducing waste and conserving energy and water. Other hotel amenities include a complimentary breakfast, a rooftop bar, an exercise room, valet laundry service, complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as fax and copy services. The hotel also offers a meeting room with 350 square feet of space to accommodate functions of up to 12 people.
