Downtown Baltimore to Add 400 Hotel Rooms

    Baltimore is on pace to add 400 hotel rooms by the end of the year, according to this article in the Baltimore Business Journal. The city already has 9,000 rooms. A 150-room Crowne Plaza Hotel and a 42-room La Quinta are currently under construction downtown. The new hotels will provide visitors to downtown Baltimore with more affordable overnight options. A 208-room Hyatt Place hotel is also being constructed in Harbor East.
