DoubleTree Offers Sweet Rides for National Cookie Month

MCLEAN, Va.—In celebration of National Cookie Month in October, DoubleTree by Hilton is partnering with Amtrak, the nation’s leading rail operator, to deliver “sweet rides” throughout the month as part of the hotel brand’s ongoing global Cookie Care campaign. Partnering with the Amtrak Guest Rewards team, DoubleTree by Hilton will surprise passengers on select routes across the U.S., sharing thousands of its signature chocolate chip cookies that welcome guests at DoubleTree by Hilton hotels around the world.

DoubleTree by Hilton will be sharing chocolate chip cookies with riders on select services along the following routes/dates: Oct. 8, Washington—Baltimore; Oct. 15, New York–Stamford, Conn.; Oct. 22–Los Angeles–Irvine, Calif.; and Oct. 29, Chicago–Milwaukee.

“We love offering our unmatched service culture and commitment to delivering special comforts and acts of kindness to travelers around the world–no matter where they are in their journey,” said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “It all starts with our iconic chocolate chip cookie welcome at check-in, and this month we are partnering with Amtrak to bring the same cookie that our guests love to travelers beyond our hotel doors.”

Throughout October, travelers and fans are invited to share a photo or story from their own “sweet” DoubleTree by Hilton experience using #CookieCare for the chance to win sweet rewards, ranging from free cookies to hotel stays.

The hotel brand will continue to spread Cookie Care throughout 2015, celebrating Veteran’s Day in San Diego and ringing in the holiday season in New York City.
