Over 100 items from more than 20 innovative and creative brands, will be available for purchase either online or at the hotel. For the launch of this retail concept, the hotel group is collaborating with The Public House of Art to present ‘The Awesome for citizenM’—an exclusively curated capsule collection of limited edition artworks from notable artists, including Dutch artist Barbara van den Berg and British photographer Paul Cox. Pieces of the collection will also be on display in the hotel’s guest rooms.

As with its sister properties, the citizenM Tower of London hotel lobby acts as a central hub for guests, and features an oversized living room with floor to ceiling book shelves. The space is adorned with art and design pieces from citizenM’s own personal collection, as well as original works from notable British artists like Dominic Harris, a commissioned wall piece by Peter Lamb, and a new installation by Julian Opie that wraps around the hotel’s façade. A dramatic kinetic light install from Dutch design duo Studio Drift is also featured in the hotel’s lobby and is comprised of material covered lamps, which continually float up and down past the eight floors of the hotel, creating a magical and mesmerizing experience for viewers.
