China’s BTG Acquires Homeinns for $1.7 Billion

    Chinese economy hotel brand Homeinns Hotel Group has been acquired by BTG Hotels Group Hong Kong for $1.7 billion, reports Hotel Management. Upon approval, Homeinns will be a wholly owned subsidiary of BTG. Homeinns owns five brands and operates more than 2,700 hotels. BTG is a state-owned company with a portfolio of 100-plus properties.
