Carlson Rezidor Appoints VP of Development, Americas

gregbMINNEAPOLIS—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Greg Burgett as vice president, development, Americas. Burgett will report to Phil Silberstein, executive vice president, Development, Americas and will lead development for the Midwest region of the U.S.

“We are pleased to welcome Greg to our team, an industry veteran that will help us grow and strengthen our brand’s presence in the Midwest,” said Silberstein. “We have aggressive goals for growth in the coming years and Greg will be an asset in allowing us to achieve those goals.”

A veteran of the hospitality industry, Burgett joins Carlson Rezidor from The Vantage Hospitality Group, where he served as regional vice president of development. His prior experience includes positions as franchise development director and director of franchise services for Choice Hotels International, franchise development director for U.S. Franchise Systems and regional director of membership development for Best
Western International. He also founded and served as president of Dimensional Marketing in Fort Wayne, Ind., a company he sold in 2007.
