Hotel BPM Partners with Spin the Vote
Election season is underway and the big Presidential showdown will be here before you know it. Hotels across the country are getting involved with the festivities and some properties are encouraging guests to get out to the polls and vote on Election Day.
Brooklyn's newest boutique property, Hotel BPM, has partnered with Spin the Vote, a campaign that seeks to empower and register the electronic dance music community to vote through specialized messages, videos, and music from prominent DJs and artists.
The hotel, which is in its soft-launch stage right now and will host a grand opening next month, is owned by DJ BIJAL and gives guests a unique music-centric experience during their stays at the hip Sunset Park property.
Starting in September, all Hotel BPM guestrooms will be outfitted with folders containing voter registration forms and information about Spin the Vote. The Hotel will also show the forthcoming Spin the Vote video on its screens to guests.
In an announcement about the partnership, DJ BIJAL said, "We could not be more excited to partner with Spin the Vote for the upcoming presidential election, it is great to see the power of music used to help promote voter awareness. There is no better way to educate the public about the importance of voting than through music and Hotel BPM could not be a better fit for this collaboration."
